JUST MIKE IT.
Hi, I’m Mike Anderson — classically trained actor, award-winning screenwriter, and professional silly lil’ guy.
I’ve performed Shakespeare in tights, written thrillers and pirate cartoons, cackled in commercial campaigns, and taught kids how to sword fight with pool noodles.
I love to help students, storytellers, and fellow nerds tap into their creativity with joy, play, and just enough chaos.
🎭 Let’s work together — or just roll for initiative.
Mike it Like it’s Hot.
Ever since I was a Kindergartener stuffing a grey sweatsuit with fake muscles to perform a solo rip-off version of SNL's “Hans and Franz” for the talent show, there’s never been anything I love more than making people laugh.
It’s a serious problem with my brain chemistry and I’m working on it with a therapist. But in the meantime, please enjoy my pathological need to entertain others for validation! SERIOUSLY, ENJOY IT, I NEED YOU TO LAUGH FOR ME TO FEEL WORTHY OF LOVE.
Comedy is my joy, my weird meditative practice, and the most honest way I know to share the beautiful absurdity of existence.

I went to one of the most serious, intense acting conservatories in the county. The Hollywood Reporter ranked it like, number three in the world or something, and that’s gotta be backed up by objective data. You can’t just make something like that up arbitrarily. It’s like saying you have the world’s best pancakes. You have to have the data to back it up.
Anyway, like so many millennials, I made the incredibly good financial decision to dedicate four years and tens of thousands of dollars to cry in tights in front of mirrors while absolutely butchering Chekhov, so please, for the love of God, hire me to act or I might start to question whether or not that was money well spent.
What I’m trying to say is while my first love will always be making people laugh with sophisticated, witty repartee like saying “Doo-doo”, I am first and foremost a classically trained actor capable of profound emotional depth and nuance… like getting hit in the nuts, falling over, tearing my pants, and farting.

Mike’s Philosophy:
Every student is different, every project is weird in its own way. My job is to make sure you feel safe to take creative risks, mess up gloriously, and grow fast.
Whether you’re learning Shakespeare or slaying dragons, I’ll bring the same joy, structure, and light-hearted irreverence I bring to everything else I do.
I’ve been teaching for 10+ years — acting, writing, improv, stage combat, voice work, musical theatre, and yes... Dungeons & Dragons.
From Broadway hopefuls to dice-rolling newbies, I’ve worked with students ages 6 to 60. My goal is to help you tap into your own voice, build confidence, and have fun doing it.
